The home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn FONES, near Warsaw, has been made
desolate by the death of their little babe. The sympathy of the
community is extended.
Northern Neck News, July 3, 1896 page 3, col.,4 obit:
June 23, 1896, little Bessie Viola, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
L.H. FONES, age four months and eight days. Bessie was a beautiful,
intelligent little baky. None know her but to love her, but God saw
fit to remove her from this world of sin and cares to join the
Heavenly throng above, so we must be reconciled and know He doeth all
things well, but oh! so sad is home without our darling babe. Oh!
darling Bessie, farewell, They face and form I'llsee no more, But in
Heaven I hoope to meet thee, Where parting and sorrow will be o'er.
